Who we are

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information.

• Information you give us. When you send an enquiry, book a viewing, or ask us to value or manage a property, we collect your name, email address, phone number where you provide it, and whatever you write in the message — including which property you were looking at.
• Information collected automatically. Our host records standard technical data such as pages visited, approximate region, browser and device type, and page performance. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you.

Why we use it

We use the information you give us to answer your enquiry, arrange viewings, advise you on buying, renting, selling or managing property, and to keep a record of our dealings with you. We use the automatic data to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with the services that run this website and our business, and only as far as they need it:

• Our content system, which stores the enquiry record so it is not lost if email fails.
• Our email provider and domain host, which deliver enquiries to our office mailbox.
• Our website host, which serves the site and provides aggregate traffic and performance figures.
• OpenStreetMap, which supplies the map tiles on our listing and neighbourhood pages. Loading a map sends your IP address to their servers.
• Where a sale or letting requires it, the property owner, developer, or a professional adviser such as a lawyer or surveyor.
• A public authority, where the law requires us to disclose it.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a booking platform, a social network or another third-party site, that site's own privacy policy applies once you leave ours. We do not control what they collect.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores a few small preferences in your own browser — the homes you save, the ones you have recently viewed, and your chosen display currency. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we may reasonably need them to serve you or to show how a transaction was handled, and longer where tax or other law requires it. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Keeping it safe

Enquiries travel over an encrypted connection and are held in access-controlled systems. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable period. You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
