10 Leading Real Estate Companies in Ghana for Construction, Consultancy and Property Management
Lusso Homes · 25 September 2026

Ghana's real estate market has changed a lot over the last thirty years. What began as a few estate builders serving returning diaspora families is now a sector with Grade A offices, master-planned cities, luxury high-rises and professionally run gated communities. Buyers and investors now expect more than a finished building. They want a firm that can plan it, build it and look after it for years afterwards.
This list covers ten companies that stand out in one or more of those three areas: construction and development, consultancy and advisory, and property or facilities management. Each one is strongest in a different part of the market.
1. Broll Ghana
Broll Ghana marks 20 years in the market in 2026. It belongs to the Broll group, which has worked across sub-Saharan Africa since 1975. Of all the firms on this list, Broll leans most towards consultancy and management. Its services include property and facilities management, valuation and advisory work, occupier services for businesses looking for space, and broking and leasing for offices, shops and homes. It is best known as the manager of commercial assets such as Achimota Retail Centre. Broll is a natural first call for landlords and institutional investors who want professional management of income-producing property.
2. Devtraco Group (Devtraco Limited and Devtraco Plus)
Devtraco has been building homes for more than 30 years and has delivered over 1,800 units. Devtraco Courts in Tema covers 205 acres and has more than 1,000 homes. Its sister company, Devtraco Plus, builds for the upper end of the market, with projects such as The Address in Roman Ridge and Arlo in Cantonments. Devtraco is known for gated, master-planned communities and has a long record of delivering homes to the mid-market.
3. Lusso Homes
Lusso Homes is a luxury real estate and property management company based in Accra. It focuses on premium residential rentals in some of the city's most sought-after neighbourhoods, including Airport Residential Area and Cantonments. Lusso Homes manages properties from start to finish for owners and investors: marketing and letting, tenant relations, rent collection, maintenance and facilities management.
4. Regimanuel Gray
Regimanuel Gray was founded in 1991 and is a founding member of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA). It is one of the most established names in gated community housing. Its best-known project, Regimanuel Satellite City, is planned at a very large scale. The company also manages its estates after handing homes over to buyers, which many developers still do not offer.
5. Trasacco Estates Development Company (TEDC)
Trasacco is known for the top end of the market. Its projects include Trasacco Valley and Villagio Vista, which is among Ghana's tallest residential towers. TEDC offers turnkey development, architecture and design, construction management, cost control and procurement. Its work covers low-rise and high-rise homes, offices and hotels.
6. Laurus Development Partners
Laurus was founded in 2009 as a partnership between the private equity firm Actis and CEO Carlo Matta. It has become a leader in green commercial building in West Africa. In Accra it developed One Airport Square, a Class A office building with Green Star certification, and it has also worked on The Exchange, a mixed-use project. Its services include project management, construction management and sustainability consulting, which makes it relevant to investors who want institutional-grade commercial property.
7. Clifton Homes
Clifton Homes was founded in 2010 and is known for design-led homes and for finishing projects on time. Its portfolio includes Kai Villas, Embassy Gardens, Varon Rise, The Atlas and the award-winning Lennox, which is built around wellness amenities. It handles both construction and project management, so buyers deal with one team from design through to handover.
8. Goldkey Properties
Goldkey has been operating since the 1990s and focuses on luxury mixed-use developments, such as Cantonments City and several projects in the Airport Residential Area. It has won several Ghana Property Awards and has developed a large amount of residential and commercial floor space in Accra's prime districts.
9. Lakeside Estates
Lakeside Estates was founded in 1974 and has one of the longest track records of any developer in Ghana. Its main project is Lakeside Estate, a community with a recreational park. The company combines home building with ongoing estate management, and its fifty years in the market give buyers extra confidence.
10. Appolonia City (Rendeavour)
Appolonia City, outside Accra, is developed by Rendeavour, one of Africa's largest urban land developers. It is a master-planned city of about 2,325 acres, with homes, shops, schools and business areas planned over several decades. Most developers build single estates. Appolonia City is a whole new town with infrastructure and services, and it shows where large-scale urban development in Ghana is heading.
What to Look For When Choosing a Real Estate Partner
Whether you are buying a home, investing in commercial property or looking for someone to manage your portfolio, a few checks go a long way:
- Track record: visit their finished projects and speak to people who live or work there.
- Title and legal compliance: confirm the land title, permits and the developer's registration, including GREDA membership where relevant.
- Management after handover: ask who handles maintenance, security and service charges once you move in.
- Transparency: clear pricing, written agreements and honest communication matter as much as the finishing.
Ghana's property market keeps growing, and the firms that combine good construction, sound advice and dependable management are setting the standard for the rest of the industry.
